Fr. Jim Turner
Fr. James Turner, OSFS, passed away today, April 16, 2024 at the age of 72. The psalm at Mass today (Psalm 31) reminds us of Jim’s life, his prayer and our hope: “Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.” Obituary and arrangements to follow. Please keep him in your prayers.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
FUNERAL RITES: Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Childs
The viewing for Fr. Turner will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Light Chapel in Childs, Maryland.
The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:15 AM.
Burial will follow in the Oblate Cemetery at Childs.
